Hairball
commonProjectile“Everything a cat has been meaning to say, at speed.”
Arcs as it flies, so at range you have to lead the shot. Reads clearly and is fun to dodge.
The armoury
You carry five at a time, and they are all lying about in the open — there are no secret loot rooms and nothing is hidden behind a chest you have to buy.
“Everything a cat has been meaning to say, at speed.”
Arcs as it flies, so at range you have to lead the shot. Reads clearly and is fun to dodge.
“Borrowed from the shed. Never returned.”
Fast and accurate up close, with damage that falls away past twelve metres.
“The handle watches you back.”
Two clean hits from the front, or one and a half from behind. Rewards flanking without making a back hit an instant kill.
“Slap with it, or throw it. It knows the way home.”
Comes back to wherever you are now, not where you threw it from, so the catch is reliable while running.
“Comes with a turret kit and absolutely no instructions.”
Does no damage at all. It builds turrets — and carrying it is a real trade against a fifth weapon.
“Close enough is the whole strategy.”
Nine pellets, reloaded shell by shell. Firing after two shells is a real choice.
“Patience, then a very loud noise.”
Two hundred metres of reach and no damage falloff at all — reaching out is the entire point of it.
“The one in the cave. Worth the swim, worth the climb.”
Never drops as loot. There is exactly one, inside the mountain cave, and everyone knows where it is.
The one that does no damage
It is worth zero damage and takes up one of your five slots, which is a real trade. What you get is a machine gun that stays where you put it, holds a doorway while you are somewhere else, and will never shoot the cat that built it.
There is no cap on how many you can build — only on how many kits you can find. And the lamp on the side tells you exactly what it is thinking.

One of a kind
It never drops as loot. It sits in a cave inside the mountain, in the same place every match, and everybody knows where it is. Getting there means a swim and a climb, and coming back means carrying the best gun in the game past whoever worked that out too.
